Costa da Caparica is Lisbon's beach, the one the whole city decamps to on summer weekends. Thirty kilometres of Atlantic sand, beach bars every few hundred metres, surf schools, families, teenagers, and the kind of easy summer atmosphere that is harder to find every year in European cities.
